This game is a combination of hand drawn art and lovely peaceful music as a background for a find the hidden object game with dozens of mini-puzzles and a few mini-games to solve. The game tells you how many of each object you need to locate in order to progress and you need to explore the world to find them. Sometimes you have to assemble machines from parts, sometimes solve a puzzle from a large variety of puzzles to move forward. Little by little, you help the gnome-like inhabitants by reassembling the world of Tiny Bang. This is a quiet, contemplative puzzle game. No shooting, no explosions (other than the Tiny Bang which starts the whole game.), no deaths. The world is broken into 5 discrete areas with different themes, music and art. As you solve each area you are presented with a jigsaw-like puzzle to put that area back together. Compulsive sorts might bull right through in a day or two, but I found the game to take about a week and a half of short sessions to solve. Still, not an incredible amount of content, but the game was bright and pretty, the music soothing, and the puzzles were challenging and rewarding throughout. I’ve played this on Macintosh, iPad and iPhone and I recommend the Mac version as best and the iPad as second best. The interface is best on the Mac, and having a large screen lets you appreciate the art and gives you a fighting chance to find the hidden objects. Looking for the hidden objects and managing the interface on a smaller iPhone or iPod touch screen is sub-optimal and often frustrating. There is a built-in hint system where, if you get stuck finding objects, you can tap on little flying bugs to collect them in the question mark in the upper right, slowly filling it completely blue and then you can release a homing-bug from the blue question-mark which flies a path across the screen and circles any objects on the current screen that you’ve missed. This keeps the game from getting too frustrating when you have looked past a particularly cleverly hidden object.

I loved this game and I loved the trial, so I thought it was going to be a great purchase, and it was while it lasted. However, I was expecting several hours worth of different puzzles. Before I knew it, I had completed the ENTIRE game… It didnt even take me one day! Dont get me wrong, this was a great game, but I was really hoping for A LOT more puzzles and material, especially for $5.

This was such a lovely game. The graphics are great and the puzzles entertaining. I do agree with some people before me though- the game was a bit short and the ending rather anticlimactic. If something could be done about that it would definitely do a great service to the overall game. I hope Colibri Games will be coming out with another game shortly.

not really enthused that it said $4.99 but charged my card more.

I really liked the lite version of this game, so I went ahead and bought the full version. Developers need to know there seems to be a fault in chapter 2, where one of the balls the player has to collect ends up behind the big picture (apple/airplane) which, by the time one is told to collect the balls, has been raised up to cover it. I’m down to the last ball and cannot proceed, and I can only assume that last ball is still behind the picture. (I ended up searching for a help site, and that’s how I saw the ball — from a screenshot before the picture puzzle was solved.) No way to lower the picture now, once the puzzle is solved and the picture lifts up. What a disappointment! So much of the game still to go, and I’m stuck having paid several bucks for very little playing. Please fix, folks!

1) Developers did a sloppy job. The game crashes for me when I try to exit fullscreen. And when it is in fullscreen mode, it shows the window title bar. 2) It’s not as engaging as I expected, but if not for the crashes, it could be a decent game.

Since the enhancement there are a few bugs. The steam is no longer purple and the helpful hints after you click the blue flies no longer work properly. The sliding tiles are now handled differently. Still love the game but first time players will have a very difficult time figuring out what they are missing to move on.

I’ve played the lite version for a year and liked it so much that I purchased the new version. The only thing I get frustrated about is when this app crashes. It crashes at least two times before I can finish one complete game. Although my MBP allows me to continue the game where the crash occurred, It should not be crashing. Please fix the crashing issue. Better still, some new levels or a new game would be greatly appreciated I am sure. I would have rated this app 5 stars, if it did not crash. Mac Book Pro I Core i7, 2 GHz 8 GB ram SSD

This is a great game, I play it from time to time. They messed it up when they ‘updated’ it. It’s buggy and it either doesn’t respond at all and you have to relaunch it or it just crashes. Too bad they had to ‘fix’ a good thing.

It’s way too short. I love the puzzles and the graphics, great layout but it ends after 4 episodes with no warning. I don’t feel like I ‘finished’ the game. Please expand for more stars.

I palyed and finished this game for about 5 hours straight and I really enjoyed it! It has some very interesting and challenging puzzles that can totaly occupy an adult’s mind for a few enjoyable hours! I definietly recommend it.

The original version worked fine. The New 2.2 version is also crashing. It crashes when I try to open the door for the first screen they display in the game above.

The bug’s been fixed and I can now play all the way through. Frankly, I didn’t care for the “improvements” in the various puzzles, especially the light-pipes puzzle, but it’s good to have the game working again.

Beautiful little game, nice world, great soundtrack - good relaxing play. Unfortunately one of the puzzles of Chapter 3 (the color spectrum game) is broken and so the game can’t be completed. It’s very fun gameplay until then, so it’s a shame, but having everything working so well until something just doesn’t is incredibly frustrating.
