The Tiny Bang Story App Reviews
This is definitey by far the best hidden object game I have ever played, and the fact that there is no text in the game makes it even more challenging. However, Ive already finished the entire game... I want more!! I wish it wasnt so short or that the company could put out more games like this.
Great game.
My kids loved it. Easily worth the price. I enjoyed playing it as well.
I really enjoy hidden object/puzzle games and this is, by far, one of my favorites. Its unique in that there is no guidance that pushes you along, but its not so difficult that you cant figure it out on your own. I got stuck a couple of times, but when I finally figured out what to do, it felt like a decent accomplishment. (And for those who get too frustrated, you can google walk-throughs for the game). The soundtrack is beautiful, relaxing and really transports you into the tiny world. I went to Calibris website to download the soundtrack for myself. I didnt have any issues with game play, nor did it ever crash on me. I only wish that the game had a few more levels of play as it seemed to end sooner than I expected. For the length of gameplay, $9.99 was a little pricey, but the quality of the game made up for it. I hope Calibri Games comes out with more games like this one very soon.
installing right now, really take a longtime.
its really take me a loooooooooooong time to installing, from yesterday till now not finish yet…….
Great game - lots of interesting puzzles and challenges. However, the game itself is too short for the $9.99 price point; there are only 5 levels and those can be completed rather quickly if you play for more than a few minutes at a time. Lots of fun, but overpriced at $9.99.
Ive never enjoyed "find the [insert word]" games before, but The Tiny Bang Story mixes this kind of gameplay (along with many other elements) into a constructive logic puzzle that results in some very enjoyable experiences. I just completed the game and wanted to leave my thoughts for those who are considering buying, so there they are :) The art is truly incredible and unlike anything Ive seen in a game before. Its music took my breath away and the creative gameplay elements were refreshing. Perhaps most inspiring, however, was the way the game is presented: There are no words! Everything in the game is completely visual (even the conversations with non-playing characters, which are pop-up images that show a flow: give me this and Ill give you that). This kept my eyes on the beautiful art and my mind in the logic of the game - free of distractions. Even though the game wasnt extremely long, I decided to play it in chunks (not all at once); I never felt that it was too short (but would love to see a sequel!). Even though Im 25 and have an affinity for mathematics/logic, the puzzels were challenging enough to keep me interested for the entirety of the game - but also werent so difficult that I became frustrated or wanted to quit playing. I think people of all ages could enjoy this game; and maybe even be an interesting tool to help children visualize logical progression (with a parent, of course). Alltogether, The Tiny Bang Story offered up a tasty treat (so to speak) that was both rewarding and memorable. ** One side note: This game is fueled completely off of the ability to be intuitive and Colibri does an excellend job! Very few things fell through the cracks, but I noticed one element that I didnt seem to naturally pick up until later in the game. The flies (that you can collect) are actually tied into the games Hint system. Once you collect enough flies, the fly with red eyes (in the top-right, viewable in the screenshots above) disappears and the ? button becomes blue. If you click this button when on a screen that has a collectable, the red fly will leave the button and move toward what you need to click on next. If youre in a puzzel, however, clicking this button will show you how to solve the puzzle. The deterrant for this is every time you use the Hint button, your flies are emptied and you have to refill the button before you can use it again (by collecting more flies). However, if you click the button and the fly doesnt zoom out after something to collect, then there is nothing to collect on that screen and you can move on to a different area to continue your search.
NOT WORTH $9.99!!
The game was cool and all but most definitely not ten dollars worth. I was expecting a heck of a lot more.
I wish I had known it was so short. The game play was great but I finished it in a few hours. It is definitley not worth $9.99 I actually want a refund. 5 Levels... if I had paid one or two dollars I would have no complaints but wow I am seriously dissapointed.
Cool game but was very leary of buying a game for $10 seeing that the reviews said it was very short. I liked the lite version and just got a deal on the full version for $.99. Worth the $.99
Me and my wife loved this game but it ended much sooner than we liked for 10 bucks. A blast to play, great puzzles and looks awesome! Hoping the developer comes out with more levels or another game soon.
Great but too short!
addictive but not worth 10 bucks. hope for more levels!
Nice but does
It is true that the game is addictive but I have started it twice and both times it got blocked and I cant continue. I am frustrated
Ive always wanted to play Myst and all of its sequels, so I thought the Tiny Bang Story would be a good substitute. It was great to play but I finished it in about four days. It should have been much longer - it ended to abruptly.
I was not happy to try the lite version based on the awards & average rating, fall in love with the game concept, only to find out it would only take a few hours to play it through. Definitely NOT worth the money. $9.99 is so over priced. Only goes to show that you really should read the ratings instead of just looking at how many starts an app gets!
Games too easy finished it 2x in one work shift. Only a few of the games were hard. You dont need to collect every piece of the puzzle to move on just finish the games then collect a few pieces on the last level.
When I went to buy this the first time it was 9.99! I thought no way am I buying that! They took the price down to .99 and I am SUPER happy! This is an awesome game, It REALLY works your brain.
The graphics are well done and up to the third level enjoyed the puzzles and thought process… had the lite version but refused to pay the $10 for the full app, really glad I waited until the $1 sale = I am sure the creators think it is worth the $10 for their art work, but including dumb "video" games (second level have to negotiate a boat in old Atari style graphics from one side to another and in the third level the same with a plane) and puzzles that are only designed to waste time - third level there are two puzzles that are not requiring any more thought other to figure out which direction to spin the one, and the other is just randomly clicking until the colors line up - nothing cerebral about it - is no fun.
Glitched
It was rather enjoyable until I got to the apple level and I couldnt collect anything or move on. Rather irritating
Cute game. The concept is great-Find your way through a tiny world using standard puzzle logic. The puzzles are good for intermediate puzzlers. The graphics are beautiful. However the game doesnt go anywhere, nor does it have a purpose. After completing level after level the game comes to quite an abrupt ending. Leaving its player wondering "What next?". Summary: Beautiful, visually entertaining. Too easy for experienced puzzle players. Dont hold your breath for amazing reveal at the end. There is none. Which is the most disappointing part of this game. The developers would do a great service to this game if they would revisit it and rework the ending. Loved the concept and overall feel, but would not recommend anyone spend $10 on a game that was truly too short, and feels like the makers ran out of ideas at the end.
I love this game! The graphics and music are so whimsical; I just loved every little thing about it. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is because the game just isnt long enough; there need to be more levels, more puzzles. I would rarely pay for a game I didnt think was worth it and I paid for this one; Id prefer new levels, secret levels, tunnels, or something...
